Preview: RFPSOLUTIONS and our clients have complete another successful March fiscal year end wrap-up and is all set for an exciting a New Fiscal Year (NFY) in the arena of public sector procurement.

This NFY kicks off with the 23rd Canadian Institute for Procurement and Materiel Management (CIPMM) National Workshop. This year at CIPMM we are inviting our fellow procurement lovers to show their love with a new “I Love Procurement” Sticker!

For every sticker worn at the conference, we’ll donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation! In our next RFPUpdate ® we’ll show how close we came to our donation goal with the donation meter.

Preview: To help public sector managers better Conduct a Bid Evaluation, RFPSOLUTIONS developed the Bid Evaluation Orientation Guide. Bid Criteria create the roadmap for communication between the buyer and the seller. Criteria identify the key elements of what the buyer seeks and enable the seller to determine whether they can meet those needs while providing direction on how to market their product. For any map to have value it must be accurate, complete and relevant, providing neither too much nor too little detail.  A bad map can cause confusion, induce time delays due to misdirection, excessive traffic and accidents, or be disregarded altogether.

Preview: With spring comes the 2013 CIPMM National Workshop, to be held on May 7th – 9th, 2013 at the Ottawa Convention Centre.

RFPSOLUTIONS will be set-up in the trade show area on May 8th and 9th, and we cannot wait to catch up with our clients on what is new in their procurement worlds and we look forward to meeting new visitors as well.

This year at CIPMM, in appreciation for over 20 years of business, RFPS will donate $2 (one for each decade) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, on behalf of every visitor to our Booth!
